1 Stem for 2 Handlebar Diameters - The Black One Direct Mount D-2 revolutionizes your downhill bike. As the successor to the legendary Black One Direct Mount stem, this innovative stem finally allows riding with both common diameters. The included reducing sleeve allows the use of handlebars with a diameter of Ø31.8 mm. If you remove the sleeve, you get a Ø35 mm stem - flexible and adaptable.

The simple design integrates seamlessly into your cockpit and gives it a tidy appearance. The two-piece design of the stem and the reducing sleeve allows for effortless handlebar installation without having to disassemble existing components such as brakes or grips.

The intelligent and seamless clamping design in the lower area ensures that there are neither pinch points nor sharp edges. Instead, the clamping forces are evenly distributed, which increases safety and creates optimal technical conditions, especially for carbon handlebars. This is particularly important as most stresses and notch effects always occur at the lower part of the handlebar. In addition, our smooth and seamless clamping surface extends the lifespan of your handlebar.

The stem has been certified according to the E-Safety Level with Category 5 (Maximum) and has successfully passed the EFBE E-MTB Tri Test (EPAC MTB-GR).
