Fargo is our original drop-bar mountain bike. A bit of a cult classic, it is designed for riders on mixed terrain and bikepackers who seek the versatility to take any route and the ability to carry everything needed for multi-day trips. The Fargo frameset is a feature-rich platform that allows you to build your dream machine from the ground up - where will it take you?

• Triple-butted, frame-size-specific seamless CroMoly tubing designed by Salsa
• Light, robust, and extremely versatile, this is our carbon fork for rides on any terrain. Two sets of Three-Pack mounts on each fork leg accommodate additional water or Anything Cages, and mid-blade mounts allow for low rider racks. Firestarter fits a variety of tire sizes, from 27.5 x 2.8–3.0" to 29 x 2.2–3.0"
• Designed as a drop-bar mountain bike, optimized for use with Salsa Woodchipper or Cowchipper handlebars. Capable of handling everything from technical singletrack, two-track paths, gravel, and occasional paved roads. Predictable handling with or without load. The bike for multi-surface excursions
• Split version of our renowned Alternator dropout for ultimate drivetrain variety. Ride singlespeed or geared, QR or thru-axle, freehub or Rohloff, or Gates belt drive. • This wheel and tire size rolls fast, keeps the weight low, and offers excellent maneuverability
• Fargo geometry and spacing can accommodate 275+, 29: and in sizes from small to extra-large 29+, resulting in a highly capable bike ready for almost any endeavor
