Description
Description
The SHIMANO GRX Di2 DUAL CONTROL 2x12-speed shift/brake lever offers fast, wireless shifting for riding on gravel and mixed terrain. Thanks to raised hoods, a ribbed surface, and a non-slip coating, the ergonomic brake lever provides more safety and control. With its new design, the grip is optimally suited for seamless integration into handlebars with flare, without affecting the position of the gravel-specific third button. Three options for satellite switches for the RX825 levers complete the cockpit and offer a maximum of customization possibilities with their SHIMANO FRONT SHIFT NEXT function.
The GRX BR-R820 disc brake caliper offers gravel riders a completely new feeling of control thanks to improved modulation and faster bite point. And despite the flatter design, the system is quieter and more maintenance-friendly than ever before.
Relaxed Grip
The cross-section of the new DUAL CONTROL levers has a shape optimized for gravel and integrates seamlessly into the look of handlebars with flare. The levers are slightly rounded, the transition from the handlebar to the grip is a bit smoother and offers a larger grip area to reduce pressure on the hands. Thanks to the higher comfort, a day tour can sometimes last a little longer.
Wireless Clever
The cockpit offers a wireless and gravel-optimized look thanks to GRX DI2. The slightly upward-curved grips have a ribbed surface and the brake levers with non-slip coating ensure an absolutely secure grip - no matter how wild the ride gets. Cables with an even smaller diameter provide a direct connection between the battery and the derailleur or front derailleur. This makes contact points superfluous and simplifies the entire bike setup. In addition, the centrally integrated battery is easier to charge and remains securely protected even on the roughest roads, trails, or the most remote paths.
Connection with your accessories
Another crucial advantage of electronic shifting is the connection to additional shift buttons that the new DI2 system enables. With the help of a secondary switch from Shimano, which can be mounted both above and below the handlebar or on an AERO handlebar , riders no longer have to take their hands off the handlebar to shift and can fully concentrate on their performance. Just like the third button on the GRX DI2 DUAL Control levers, these secondary switches can fulfill different functions, such as shifting the derailleur or front derailleur, controlling compatible lights and GPS devices, or acting as a lap counter during training.
