SQlab 502 Pedal active - black

Freedom begins at the foot: Previous studies have proven that allowing axial rotation of 10° in clipless pedals can reduce the potential for overload damage in knees – this assumption was examined as part of a master's thesis and based on this, the 502 active-system pedal was developed for trekking cyclists: the first active pedal on the market for a knee-friendly, ergonomic foot position. The slightly concave and outwardly rotated pedal surface allows for an ergonomic stance on the pedal while simultaneously providing enormous grip.

Four different axle lengths ensure a physiologically natural foot position on the pedal. This prevents unilateral strain – especially in the case of a fibula head syndrome.
