Many mountain bikers are bothered by the now unmanageable components on the handlebars. Shift lever, brake lever, damper lockout, dropper seat post, damper and fork lockout, speedometer, GPS. This creates the desire for a tidy and clean cockpit.
For direct mounting of a SRAM shift lever on Shimano I-Spec-2 brake levers of the 6000, 7000, 8000, and 9000 series (from model year 2015).
