When cornering or gripping rock walls outside of the fall, the progressive siping on the shoulders varies the edges of the profile to balance a responsive riding feel on the trail with tough grip and without instability – stuck, controlled, and predictable. On climbs, the Mazza digs in with stair-step front edges that perform well on both forceful rolls and technical rocky key sections. In between, the voracious spacing devours and eliminates loose, loamy soil and sticky mud.
