The XC Racing Tire for Dry Conditions + Mixed Terrain

Fast rolling, aggressive cornering, and a lightweight construction – this is the tire for XC tracks that combine hard surfaces with root grids and occasionally rocky trails. The Mezcal XC Race was developed for pure XC speed and its pedigree has been proven through multiple UCI World Championships and XCO European Championships.

The continuous centerline ensures quick contact when rolling, and the staggered extensions are shaped to multiply the number of front and rear edges, allowing you to climb the trail uphill and provide more bite when braking. The rear sipes on the shoulder lugs run parallel to the trail with variable width and open rear edges, allowing the Mezcal to corner quickly on hard, slippery surfaces – even though it is such a fast-rolling tire. When climbing, cornering, or descending, no tire is better suited than the Mezcal.

Graphene-4C- Compound
Rubber enriched with graphene in a graduated scheme of four compounds over the rolling strip and shoulders. Two stabilizing base compounds increase puncture resistance and create a foundation for climbing, braking, and cornering loads. The trail-side compounds reduce rolling resistance, increase traction, and provide a grippy ride in switchbacks and off-camber sections, whether wet or dry. 

XC-Race TLR 120- Tpi Casing
The lightest casing for XC racing, paired with a durable, supple 120-TPI nylon construction with tubeless-ready, world-championship-tested aramid beads. The XC-Race TLR spins quickly, doesn't punish, and dampens noise without compromising responsiveness – speed and trail feel without vulnerability.
