The Zipp 454 NSW Tubeless Disc Brake is the ultimate wheelset for road racing. This wheelset delivers everything the performance-oriented cyclist demands. It is aerodynamically efficient and stable in all wind conditions. Moreover, a wider rim has been developed for tubeless tires with lower pressure to reduce rolling resistance and vibration losses, ensuring you lose as little energy as possible while riding. We recommend a 28 mm tire on this wheelset to achieve the best combination of aerodynamics and rolling resistance. The wavy 58 mm Sawtooth rim shape with Hyperfoils is our most aerodynamic and stable wheel. The 454 NSW features Zipp's Total System Efficiency (TSE), our approach to tackling the greatest speed enemies: aerodynamic drag, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses.

Zipp's use of hookless (straight) rims in the 454 NSW is an essential part of "Making You Faster." With hookless, the transition between tire and rim is more seamless and aerodynamic. Zipp's hookless rims have a more efficient resin distribution, resulting in lighter and stronger wheels. The 454 NSW is equipped with the race-ready ZR1 SL hub set with ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement. The hub set is also 30 g lighter than the previous hub in the NSW wheelsets.
