Description
HYDRO_BOT jacket with active moisture-wicking insert in the back

Application:
- For best results, wearing functional underwear made of synthetic materials with good moisture transport is recommended

Installation/Operation:
- Jacket is compatible with Montevideo-Air 2.0 jacket (X51039)
- Connecting the control box to the HYDRO_BOT system cable inside the jacket
- Placing the control box into the designated pocket in the jacket
- Charge the control box with the USB charging cable. A red light flashes during the charging process. The battery will last 16 hours under normal conditions.
- Start the system by pressing the button on the control box
- Press 1 x: steady green light, the system is on
- Press 2 x: flashing green light, the system is in standby. In standby mode, the HYDRO_BOT system can be activated and deactivated
- Press the button for 3 seconds to turn off. A red light will flash briefly and the system is turned off
Care/Cleaning:
- Before washing, the control box must be removed from the jacket
- Please wash by hand or separately at 30°C with low rotation (max. 500) or completely without spinning
- Do not tumble dry and do not iron
Purpose/Function:
- HYDRO_BOT is the first active moisture transporting membrane that transports moisture and vapor from the inside to the outside by electro-osmosis . This was developed and tested in professional laboratories in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (EMPA)
- The HYDRO_BOT fabric electronically transports moisture on demand, independent of external factors such as temperature and humidity, with direct electronic control of the direction and amount of transport. The membrane is equipped with trillions of pores/m2. When the elements receive a small, electrical impulse, moisture is transported at high speed away from the body through the pores to the outside of the jacket. This process is called electro-osmosis. The HYDRO_BOT insert is strategically positioned in the most sweat-intensive areas on the back

- Wearing a backpack may reduce the operation of the system
- It is therefore recommended to use a backpack with a ventilation system
- The material of the HYDRO_BOT system itself does not have a high water column. It works like a water pump, not a water barrier
