The Zipp 303 XPLR S is an effective upgrade for all gravel grinders without carrying an expensive price tag. While this wheelset incorporates many of the key innovations of our premium gravel wheelset, it is more affordable and just as robust - ideal for demanding gravel riders. This wheelset is one of the fastest on gravel. Thanks to its mega-wide rims, which are ideally combined with the recommended tires, it reduces air resistance and vibrations from uneven surfaces that would otherwise act as a barrier and slow the rider down. To counteract this, Zipp has applied its design philosophy of Total System Efficiency specifically to the challenges of gravel. The wide rim profile increases tire volume, allowing for lower tire pressures without sacrificing stability. This means you dampen vibrations from the ground while maintaining the necessary grip for corners and traction for steep climbs. The rim profile also creates a seamless transition to the gravel tires, resulting in efficient aerodynamics on gravel. And despite its width, the 303 XPLR S wheelset remains lightweight, allowing you to experience those fulfilling days in the saddle as quickly and refreshed as possible. The Zipp 303 XPLR S is only compatible with approved tires.
