Some great successes begin with a tragedy. So also the story of Evocs bags and backpacks. In 1999 founder Holger Feist was lucky. At a snowboard video shoot, the then freeride professional got into a snow avalanche. Fortunately, he was not spilled, but he was seriously injured. What was actually intended for rescue was doomed - the avalanche shovel in the backpack added a nasty back injury to him. This event was the birth of Evoc.
