WHAT IT IS

Super-light, robust liner shorts for intense off-road rides, completely redesigned with our new high-performance OFF-ROAD insert, a fit offering greater support, improved protection, and enhanced breathability in the optimized hip pads.

BEHIND THE PRODUCT

The TRAIL TACTICA liner shorts feature the new OFF-ROAD HP T3 insert, which retains the cooling and airflow characteristics of the previous version but reduces friction during riding and provides additional velvety-soft comfort on single trails and gravel paths. We have stabilized the overall fit by incorporating elastane into the highly elastic leg hems, ensuring close-fitting comfort. The waist has also been redesigned and enhanced with our zeroPressure waist technology, which wraps around the body and keeps padding inserts stable and secure in place. The new ImpactorTec T3 hip pads have been designed with a larger protective surface and a very soft inner side, and feature kraterCooler ventilation to ensure protection without overheating the rider.

The base layer of the TRAIL TACTICA system. Effectively combined with TACTICA cargo shorts, knickers, pants, or MILLE GTC ZEPPELIN cargo shorts for all off-road rides.

FINER DETAILS 

The Polstar fabric is a highly breathable, cooling mesh with bi-stretch and a water-repellent coating that allows moisture to evaporate more quickly. Although the material is more robust than the Sport Touring liner shorts, we recommend wearing them with an outer layer. The Speedy fabric is highly elastic, reduces odors, and provides compressive support around the waist.

CONSTRUCTION/FIT

A skin-tight fit for the barely noticeable layer beneath TACTICA cargo equipment. We have created a unique fabric construction to avoid friction on the skin. The standard leg length provides additional protection between the skin and outer layers.

ENGINEERING

• ImpactorTec T3: Redesigned for the TRAIL TACTICA system with a combination of 7 mm thick viscoelastic foam pads and a larger protective surface, along with kraterCooler technology for cooling air circulation.
• zeroPressure Waist: A soft, elastic waist design for even greater comfort and support around the waist, without applying pressure or restricting movement.
• Superlight Leg Grippers: Integrated elastic band in the lightly compressive leg hems ensures secure hold without constriction.

OFF-ROAD HP T3 Insert

• Shock-Absorb Damping Mono9: Compressive foam layers, whose thickness we increased from 8 mm to 9 mm for more upright riding positions on gravel and single trail routes. A thermoformed cut reduces annoying transitions.
• 3D Waffle: A patented three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability, has no excess weight, and provides shock absorption.
• goldenGate 2.0: The padding is attached at the front and back, with movable pads at the sides and center – allowing movement with you rather than against you. New cutouts at the sides reduce bulk and friction with each pedal stroke.

kraterCooler: Perforations on the front side of the chamois pad enhance air circulation, providing breathability and a dry, comfortable microclimate
