The Brooks Slender Leather Grips are equipped with vegetable-tanned leather tape, a naturally timeless material for long-lasting durability and great looks, perfect for bikes with straight handlebars. The concept is based on an aluminum shell around which the handlebar tape is wrapped in the manner of traditional handlebar tape. The leather is then held by aluminum and steel clamps, which can be removed if the tape needs to be replaced.
