The modern frame and fork made of SL-quality carbon were specially developed for long-distance road rides and offer a smooth and efficient ride that minimizes fatigue on long rides. The new D-Fuse components work together to dampen road shocks and vibrations.

Maximum Control
The new Contact D-Fuse handlebar is ergonomically shaped and has an 8-degree angle for comfort and control on long rides. The wide, hookless carbon rims (22.4 mm internal width) are optimized for high-volume tubeless tires (up to 38 mm), and the rim depth of 36 mm ensures stable, predictable handling in crosswinds.

ULTRALIGHT CARBON ENDURANCE ROAD BIKE
With higher lateral stiffness and a super-light frame weight of 785 g, this is the most efficient Defy ever. The carbon frame is designed for comfortable riding on long, hard rides. The new D-Fuse SLR seatpost is now lighter and offers 40% more flex. The also new D-Fuse SLR handlebar features similar D-shaped tubes as the seatpost to absorb shocks and vibrations, and an 8-degree flare for better ergonomics and control. Highlights of the components include the new Contact SLR AeroLight stem with integrated cable routing. The CADEX 36 wheel system with super-light hookless carbon rims ensures fast and stable handling and superior performance with tubeless tires.
