Description
Brake Pad Compound: Disc RS
POWERFUL AND CONSISTENT BRAKING
Disc RS has a strong braking behavior and offers a balanced ratio of performance features important for racers and everyday drivers
- Consistently quiet in use
- Transparent feel at the lever
- Braking power that is predictable and progressive
- High durability
QUIET – WHETHER WET OR DRY
Disc RS is extremely quiet under all conditions. The compound is noiseless in wet, dry, snow, and ice conditions.
ORGANIC COMPOUND
Sensitive modulation, rotor-friendly.
THIN BACKING PLATE DESIGN
The backing plate, only 1.6 mm thick, made of a steel alloy, saves weight compared to traditional designs – yet retains the advantageous thermal properties as well as the strength and stability of steel.
The thinner backing plate is equipped with additional pad compound, thus extending the lifespan of the disc pad.
BALANCED PERFORMANCE
Disc RS offers a balanced combination of braking performance, durability, and extreme quietness under all conditions. This finely tuned pad compound provides an optimal driving experience compared to other brake pads.
Performance:
- Braking power: 7/10
- Durability: 8/10

WARNING: The brake pads must be bedded in to achieve optimal braking power and durability
-
Step 1: On a medium gradient descent, alternate between the front and rear brake letting them drag for 20-30 seconds.
Repeat this process 2-3 times. -
Step 2: On a steeper descent, alternate both brakes letting them drag for 10-15 seconds each and finish the braking with an almost complete stop.
Repeat this process again 2-3 times. - Pro-Tip: Bed in the brake pads for the rear brake on the front wheel. Exactly as described above. Then mount the pads at the rear. On a flat road, let them drag briefly 2-3 times. Caution: Before swapping the pads, ensure they have cooled down sufficiently: Risk of burns!
