The RWS quick-release axle is anything but ordinary. The RWS system developed by DT Swiss is unique because it offers a secure, faster attachment with unique clamping force compared to common eccentric quick-releases. The RWS system is optimized for the demands of modern bikes, as these demands have increased significantly and bikes are ridden much more aggressively and at higher speeds. And this axle is made exactly for that. There are no components made of plastic or other materials that become susceptible at high temperatures on the RWS axle, which means it can be used with disc brakes without concern. The lever can be simply lifted to tighten the axle and brought into a suitable position. After tightening, the lever can be placed in any desired position.
