Park Tool Ventilation kit for DOT oil kit, BKD-1.2

With the BKD-1.2 bleeding kit for hydraulic brakes, you can bleed most models of hydraulic disc brakes based on DOT fluid, including models from SRAM®, Formula®, Hayes®, and Hope®. Bleeding hydraulic brakes removes air bubbles and contaminants from the brake system to ensure long-lasting components and peak performance.

The BKD-1.2 is designed for tough daily commercial use and includes two syringes, hoses with shut-off clamps, bleeding blocks in various sizes, and a set of our unique mountable syringe holders, as well as several hose connectors to adapt to the different standards found in hydraulic bicycle brake systems. Each part is interchangeable and available at Park Tool. Housed in a sturdy storage case.

Note: 

The BKD-1.2 is only suitable for hydraulic bicycle brake systems based on DOT fluid . DOT fluid and mineral oil should never be mixed in the brake system or in the respective maintenance tools. Cross-contamination of brake fluid can lead to seal failure and thus brake failure. For mineral oil brake systems, use the Park Tool BKM-1.2 bleeding kit for hydraulic brakes – mineral oil.
