The TÜV-certified, pollutant-free medical LongLife rubber compounds in the new GS1 Evo are unique for bicycle grips. They follow the highest quality standards and meet the German toy and food standards – especially important for riders who like to ride without gloves and have direct skin contact with the grips for hours. The UV-stable rubber compound is developed and manufactured exclusively for Ergon in Germany.

Thanks to the high-quality aluminum inner clamp, you can perfectly adjust the wing angle of the GS1 Evo steplessly. With just one screw, you can easily and securely mount the grip on the handlebar. The wrist is ergonomically optimally supported in a gentle position, aching wrists, numb fingers, and carpal tunnel syndrome are no longer an issue. Additionally, the inner clamp allows you to comfortably grip even far out on the handlebar.

To ensure you control your bike safely in all situations, we have precisely adjusted the rubber hardness for each grip zone of the hand on the GS1 Evo. For the best bike handling. Whether you are riding with or without gloves. And it looks good too. Moondust Grey, Nightride Blue, and Chilli Red – you have the choice between three modern colors for your grips.

The pain preventer

If the wrist is too bent while biking, the carpal tunnel can be pinched. Result: Burning pain in the hand or forearm – the so-called carpal tunnel syndrome. The GS1 Evo prevents exactly that: The wing perfectly adapted to the hand with anatomical mid-hand arch ensures almost complete form closure between hand and grip. Over this large area, high pressure is evenly distributed, the carpal tunnel is relieved, and pain is prevented.

It has slightly less volume than our worldwide wing grip bestseller GP1 - making it also ideal for dynamic grip positions, for example when you stand up on the pedals.

Thick or thin - suitable for every hand

To ensure the GS1 Evo fits perfectly in your hand, we offer you two sizes to choose from. The difference between 'Small' and 'Large' lies in the grip width. A larger hand has a better fit on a thicker grip than on a thinner one. Accordingly, a smaller hand fits best on a thinner grip. For hand (glove) sizes 6.5 - 8.5, we recommend the size 'Small', for 8.5 - 10.5 you should choose 'Large'.
