System Optimized
The frame, wheels, cockpit, and other parts were designed, developed, and tested to function optimally as a system. The brand new OverDrive Aero steerer tube technology is combined with a Contact SLR AeroLight stem and a Contact SLR handlebar to allow internal cable routing, integrating the top cap, cables, and spacers into an aerodynamic, user-friendly setup.

Superior Efficiency
Thanks to a better stiffness-to-weight ratio than the previous generation, the new shape of the aero tubes, and a lower overall weight, this uncompromising road bike offers explosive acceleration and unyielding pedaling stiffness. The result is race-deciding performance in crucial moments.

Holistic Aerodynamics
All tube shapes were developed and constructed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models and wind tunnel tests. From the truncated ellipse shape of the frame tubes to the new cockpit design and component integration - everything together results in a sleeker profile that gives the frameset an aero advantage of 2.28 watts over the previous generation.

The TCR flagship combines its legendary riding characteristics with new system integrations and construction methods to make it more efficient than ever. The down tube has been significantly revised to improve aerodynamics, and the new integrated cockpit with the OverDrive Aero steerer tube and the Contact SLR AeroLight stem offers internal cable routing to further reduce air resistance. From the integrated seat post to the CADEX wheel system with 40 mm deep carbon rims, every component was selected and tested for system optimization.
