Giro Tyrant Spherical MIPS Bicycle Helmet - matte met black/ano lime

We developed the Tyrant™ MIPS® to meet the demands of today's trail riders. It is at home on wooded singletracks as well as on dirt jumps. Its style is subtle, yet under the hood, it packs a lot of performance features. These include Wind Tunnel™ ventilation and MIPS® Spherical technology. This uses foam layers that function like a ball and a socket to redirect impact energy in a crash. One layer is made of EPS, which is particularly suitable for high-speed crashes, while the other is made of lower-density EPP foam to absorb the characteristics of slower falls. The additional coverage of this full-cut design enhances the protective properties, while the design is aimed at riders who prioritize style above all.
