Gusset XD 1-ER Singlespeed Kit

The XD 1-ER Kit was developed from our Vision that riders with XD freehub bodies might want to switch to singlespeed without buying a new hub. We entered the singlespeed market early and know that riders are still looking for simple and elegant solutions to make their bike work under all conditions.

The XD 1-ER Kit uses the splines and threaded XD freehub body and is easy to install. Depending on the orientation of the included 3 mm spacer, it offers a 49 or 51 mm chainline. It has never been easier to ride a modern SRAM bike with a singlespeed.

The sprocket teeth are designed for a narrow 3/32''-9-speed chain, although wider 1/8'' single-speed chains can also be used successfully.

It is recommended to install a new chain, as a used chain is likely worn and may not mesh well with the fresh, unused sprocket.
