If your hubs are equipped with the Shimano Centerlock mounting system for the brake disc and you prefer to install brake discs with a 6-hole standard, you can achieve this with this easy-to-use adapter set. The high-quality housing made of lightweight alloy with a toothed interface and 6 fitted stainless steel pins with a stainless steel washer and a sturdy locking ring allows for quick removal of the rotor by simply loosening the low-profile locking ring with a standard HG-type cassette lockring tool.
Important: The threads of the HG cassette lockrings differ from those of the Centerlock brake lockrings. Both lockrings use the same HG tool for installation, but please do not attempt to interchange or use HG and Centerlock lockrings with each other, as this would lead to irreparable damage to the threads and failure of critical components, posing a danger to you and your bike.
