With a generous internal width of 33 mm, the Vortex wheels increase tire volume and maximize available grip. By using an asymmetrical design, the Halo team has balanced spoke tensions and built a package that keeps descents true to line while reducing weight where it's not needed for energy-draining climbs. To compensate for the differences in wall length and strength of an asymmetrical design, the wall thicknesses have been dimensioned to evenly balance impact forces. The Vortex offers uncompromising advantages for offset wheels. The Vortex wheels are 100% handcrafted and come with tubeless tape pre-installed.
