Hope Bottom bracket PF41 - 30 mm - 86 mm

At Hope, we believe that 30 mm crank axles are the way of the future. One of the limited drawbacks is when installing in a Ø41 mm bottom bracket shell designed for a 24 mm axle. Until now, our solution consisted of two bearings pressed directly into the shell. While they were able to handle the loads, the lack of an inner and outer seal shortened their lifespan more than we wanted.

We now have a new solution. A specially designed and Swiss-made bearing that allows us to offer a complete bottom bracket assembly with a fully sealed center tube and external bearing shields.

These bearings are also more tolerant of misalignment to compensate for manufacturing tolerances in the frame's bottom bracket shell. All of this ensures a more durable and longer-lasting bottom bracket. Long live the 30 mm crank axles!
