Hope XCR Pro E4 Disc Brake - red

The lightest brake from Hope now offers even more possibilities for individual customization. No matter what mount your frame/fork has.

After the production stop of the Hope Race brake, here comes the successor, the new lightweight XC disc brake with carbon brake lever and titanium screws. For durability, it comes anodized and typically milled by Hope.

Hope has expanded the XCR range with the E4 caliper, which improves performance and adds a downcountry touch.

This means that the XCR brake is now suitable for a range of options, from cross-country racing machines to more demanding trail bikes.

XCR Pro

The minimal, radially arranged master cylinder retains our simple bleeding process with its conventional reservoir, yet offers reach adjustment and a new foldable handlebar clamp for low weight and easy installation. The lever bushings ensure reduced friction and a super light lever action, completed with a carbon lever.

E4

The E4 caliper uses hybrid pistons made of stainless steel with a phenol insert. This allows for smoother movement and less maintenance, while also being able to handle high temperatures without heat transfer under extreme stress. The racing pads are included. They are designed to deliver impressive performance right out of the box with little break-in time required; they are also more resistant than conventional organic pads.
