Hope XCR Pro X2 Disc Brake - red

After the discontinuation of the Hope Race brake, here comes the successor, the new lightweight XC disc brake with carbon brake lever and titanium screws. For durability, it comes anodized and typically milled by Hope.

With the recent resurgence of trail/XC bikes with shorter travel, now is the perfect time to announce the new XCR brake from Hope. It is lighter, more powerful, more ergonomic, and has a better lever feel than anything they have offered before. It is a lightweight brake without compromise, whether you are racing or on the trail.

The minimal, radially arranged master cylinder retains the simple bleeding process with its conventional reservoir and still offers reach adjustment as well as a new foldable handlebar clamp for reduced weight and easy installation. New lever bushings provide reduced friction and a super-light lever movement, completed with a carbon lever blade, with the brake only available in a silver anodized finish.

The brake is paired with a special edition of the X2 caliper, equipped with aluminum pads and a sleek, flat, crimped connection. A conventional olive is retained at the lever end to allow for easy hose shortening.
