Maxxis Aggressor folding tire - 29x2.30 inches - Dual Compound - TR Exo

The Aggressor is designed for very fast modern mountain bike trails. Advanced tread design provides additional grip edges and reinforced side knobs offer increased stability in fast corners. An all-round trail tire suitable for everything from light trails to challenging enduro courses.

Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This results in better traction and reduced rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other “Tubeless Ready” tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless mounting successful on all standard rims on the first inflation and with little liquid. Even “normal” Maxxis MTB tires can be mounted tubeless with sealant like tires from other manufacturers, as the carcass fabrics are very dense. However, only the new Maxxis TR models are officially approved for tubeless mounting and guaranteed by Maxxis.

The Exo Protection, made of extremely cut and abrasion-resistant material, protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible. This keeps the performance of the tires consistently convincingly good. In the dual compound mixture, two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the desired properties of the tires.
