Maxxis Ardent Race Folding Tire - 29x2.20 Inch - EXO TR - Dual

The Ardent Race fills the gap between the Ikon and the Ardent, between fast XC tires and trail tires. Its tread is medium-high, the center knobs are close together but allow enough space for good self-cleaning and are beveled for lower rolling resistance. The side knobs are angled and staggered, biting into the ground in corners. This makes the Ardent Race the right tire for all-round use and on the trails.

The Exo Protection, made of extremely cut and abrasion-resistant material, protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains consistently impressive. 

In the Dual Compound blend, two different rubber compounds are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned according to the desired properties of the tires.
