The 3C compound for XC and some AllMountain / Enduro tires is designed for minimal rolling resistance with its hard base and fast compound in the center of the tread, but also offers superior grip in corners with the grippy compound on the sides, even in wet conditions. Typical Maxxis is also the very long lifespan.

The Exo Protection, consisting of extremely cut and abrasion-resistant material, protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains consistently impressive.
