EXO+ Protection

Tires with EXO+ Protection are built for aggressive trail riding and Enduro racing, and are especially designed for the higher torque and weight of E-MTBs. Initially, there are wide versions of the popular Minion DHF, Minion DHr II, and Rekon with EXO+ casings.

The EXO+ construction from Maxxis combines two of the best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO Protection.

The SilkShield layer surrounds the entire tire from bead to bead, the EXO layer is mounted on the sidewalls.
