Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5x2.60 inch 3C MaxxTerra

With its completely new tread design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive gravity riding. With the side knobs of the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it has extreme cornering hold. The center knobs have beveled knobs for better acceleration. Notches on the knobs improve the transition when steering into corners. Some of the center knobs have a paddle shape, they dig in during hard braking and help keep the bike under control.

3C Maxx Terra: The freeride version of the 3C tires from Maxxis. Significantly more grip and traction due to softer compounds, with acceptable rolling resistance, so you can still ride up the mountain well before the great descent, and long lifespan.

Exo Protection: This extremely cut and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains consistently convincingly good.

Wide Trail Casing: The Wide Trail (WT) construction from Maxxis optimizes the tread layout and tire shape for wider rims. Traditional tires are developed for narrow rims and take on too angular a shape on wider rims, resulting in suboptimal performance. WT tires are optimized for a rim width of 35mm but also work for all rims with an internal width between 30 - 40 mm. 

Tubeless Ready: Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure and thus have better traction.
