Maxxis Minion DHR II Wire Tire - 26x2.40 Inch - MaxxPro - Downhill

With its completely new tread design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive gravity riding. With the side knobs of the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it has extreme cornering hold. The center knobs have beveled knobs for better acceleration. Notches on the knobs improve the transition when steering into corners. Some of the center knobs have a paddle shape, they dig in during hard braking and help keep the bike under control.

The MaxxPro Compound is the first tire compound for bicycle tires where the components have been ground extremely finely. This compound is optimal from all-mountain to downhill: more grip, good damping properties, long lifespan, low rolling resistance. And no knob tearing – a success of the exclusive Maxxis MaxxPro technology.
