Maxxis Minion DHR II WT folding tire - 27.5x2.40 inches - 3C MaxxTerra - TR Exo

With its completely new tread design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive gravity riding. With the side knobs of the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it has extreme cornering hold. The center knobs have beveled edges for better acceleration. Notches on the knobs improve the transition when steering into corners. Some of the center knobs have a paddle shape, they dig in during hard braking and help keep the bike under control.

Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This provides better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other 'Tubeless Ready' tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a true UST tubeless tire. This makes tubeless mounting successful on all rims with standard dimensions on the first inflation and with little fluid. Even 'normal' Maxxis MTB tires can be mounted tubeless with sealant like tires from other manufacturers, as the carcass fabric is very dense. However, only the new Maxxis TR models are officially approved for tubeless mounting and guaranteed by Maxxis.

3C MaxxTerra is exactly the right 3C compound for Maxxis's Enduro and Freeride tires. Ease of climbing uphill, as well as best grip downhill, characterize this compound just as much as a long lifespan. 

The Exo Protection, consisting of extremely cut and abrasion-resistant material, protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight, and very flexible. This keeps the performance of the tires consistently convincingly good.

Maxxis WT tires are optimized for rims with an internal width of 30 mm or more.
