Maxxis Minion DHR II WT Folding Tire - 29x2.40 Inch - 3C MaxxTerra - DD TR

With its completely new tread design, the Minion DHR II is the ideal tire for aggressive gravity riding. With the side knobs of the legendary DHF, which have been slightly widened for even better cornering grip, it has extreme cornering hold. The center knobs have beveled edges for better acceleration. Sipes on the knobs improve the transition when steering into corners. Some of the center knobs have a paddle shape, they dig in during hard braking and help keep the bike under control.

3C Maxx Terra: The freeride version of the 3C tires from Maxxis. Significantly more grip and traction due to softer compounds, with acceptable rolling resistance, so you can still ride up the mountain well before the great descent, and long lifespan.

Double Down tires are constructed like Maxxis downhill tires: two carcass layers reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. However, with two 120 TPI (instead of 60 TPI) carcass layers and aramid bead, they are significantly lighter than downhill tires, much more stable and robust than TR + EXO tires, and thus ideal for tough enduro courses.
