The lightweight version of our EWS-tested tread, the Mazza Trail, embodies gravity-tuned grip, reliability, and predictable trail feel with a construction that spins faster and pushes the throttle over key sections and rollers. The ultimate all-mountain tire for riders who enjoy climbing before descending.

When cornering or gripping rock walls outside the fall line, the progressive siping on the shoulders varies the tread edges to balance a responsive trail feel with tenacious grip and without instability – glued, controlled, and predictable. On climbs, the Mazza digs in with ramp-shaped leading edges that perform well on rollers and technical rocky key sections. In between, the voracious spacing devours and clears loose, loamy soil and sticky mud.

Graphene-4C-Compound
Rubber enriched with graphene in a graduated scheme of four compounds over the rolling strip and shoulders. Two stabilizing base compounds increase puncture protection and durability while providing a foundation for climbing, braking, and cornering loads. The trail-side compounds reduce rolling resistance, increase traction, and ensure a grippy ride in switchbacks and off-camber sections, whether wet or dry. 

Casing Cyclocross 120 TPI Nylon
It is the highest number of our cyclocross lines, as it means our cross race is even more supple and enduring. The resilient nylon threads attached to the carcass are close together, while the relatively high thread count reduces resistance to rotational movement and maintains the braking feel and dampens vibrations.
