The Muc-Off Crank Preload Ring is a super durable, precisely CNC-machined 7075 piece of hardware. It allows you to precisely adjust the "preload" tension on the bottom bracket bearing. What is it for? It helps eliminate lateral play and play in bottom brackets with a plug spindle to maximize the lifespan of your bottom bracket and allow you a creak-free ride.
It fits the left crank arm of all mountain bikes, gravel, or road bikes with SRAM, RaceFace, or Easton cranks with a 30 mm spindle or SRAM DUB spindles with 28.99 mm.
