29" - WHEELS

29 inches is the clear choice for Laufey for long, fast rides on varied terrain with the best possible versatility. Wide 2.6" tires offer a larger contact area and thus more traction. At any given time, more knobs touch the ground, resulting in better cornering and more braking power.

ORBEA HYDROFORMED ALUMINUM

We optimize the shapes and wall thicknesses of our aluminum tubes to strengthen them and reduce unwanted flex. Many of the tubes are tapered towards the middle. This way, we save weight in the less stressed areas of the frame.

With aluminum technology as advanced as our carbon manufacturing, we guarantee that our aluminum bikes are never second choice.

RELIABILITY

The Laufey was designed for a lot of action. Without neglecting the weight savings on the frame, we aimed for additional durability in a bike that is heavily used. Hydroformed tubes lead to the necessary resistance.

INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING

Cables and lines are routed through the frame behind the head tube in the most sensible way, without rubbing or rattling.

WELDED CHAINSTAY YOKE

To achieve maximum tire clearance and highest strength, we developed our own welded chainstay yoke with CNC finishing, ensuring the most precise specifications.
