Description
Focus on fast
Developed on the world's enduro trails, the Rallon is the first choice for riders from our Enduro Race Team. But it's also great fun on fast laps with friends. Or do you prefer a long day at the bike park, with big jumps and plenty of action? Whatever your plans, this fearless bike is ready!
Just like the sport of enduro itself, the Rallon has also evolved
Besides a longer and more relaxed geometry, the Rallon also offers increased standover height for greater choice in frame sizing. The completely redesigned suspension kinematics provide a progressive leverage curve, which, combined with 160mm rear travel, is hard to beat: fast and agile in corners, yet offering full control and traction on loose terrain. Add the powerful Fox 38 fork, and your Rallon is ready for any adventure.
When the descent gets really steep, you want to drop your saddle as low as possible
Because more freedom of movement over the bike gives you more control – and more control means more speed. But a low saddle requires a long dropper seatpost. The challenge is allowing the saddle to be dropped deeply without affecting seatpost insertion depth or frame geometry. With its steep seat tube angle and high insertion depth, the Rallon offers one of the lowest standover heights in its class. This gives you plenty of room for choosing your long dropper seatpost. Because long dropper posts are the only solution to getting the saddle out of the way on steep descents.
The key to ride feel and grip
If a frame is too stiff, the essential feel for the terrain can suffer. By adjusting the carbon structure, we can control frame flexibility without weakening it. This way, Orbea perfectly balances stiffness between the front and rear triangles. We're talking about extensive work in engineering, development, and testing, all to give you more grip and confidence on rough terrain – and thus valuable seconds in the fight against the clock.
