Description
The Peaty's HoldFast Trail Tool Wrap is the ultimate flexible storage solution designed to transport your trail essentials flexibly on any bike, keep them clean, and allow quick access in emergencies on the trail.
Conventional frame bags slip, scratch the frame, make the tools dirty, and are cumbersome to handle. The Peaty's Holdfast Trail Tool Wrap is made from an extremely durable, water-repellent fabric with welded seams, ensuring your tools don't get covered in mud or dust even on the wildest rides. There is even a fully waterproof inner pocket where small parts and valuables can be stored safely and dry.
The unique attachment system consists of two parts: the strap and the tool wrap. This way, the strap can be tightly fastened around the frame to ensure the best possible hold. The bag is attached to the strap, so the tools are quickly at hand when needed.
Once removed and opened, the bag can also be temporarily hung on the bike by reattaching it to the strap (which remains attached to the frame). This keeps all tools clean and quickly accessible.
The flexible mounting system allows the strap to be attached anywhere and on any bike without being restricted by water bottle or accessory mounts. There is enough space for a tube and some trail essentials that are also carried in the backpack on longer tours.

What fits inside?
Just as the contents of a 30-liter backpack don't fit into a 5-liter enduro bag, you need to weigh what to take with the HoldFast Tool Wrap. To find the best individual setup, you should experiment a bit – but you'll quickly find the right setup.
The guys at Peaty's tested the following setup and found it to be good:
- 1x Holeshot Puncture Plugger
- 1x Holeshot CO2 Tyre Inflator
- Either 1x or 2x 25G CO2 cartridges (depending on the size of the multitool)
- 1x Multitool (the smaller, the better)
- 2x Tire levers
- Either a credit card, some coins, or a banknote
- Car or house key
- Small cable ties
- Chain lock
Installation instructions
- Pack the items of your choice into the tool wrap and wrap it together with some pressure to keep everything in place.
- Find the perfect spot in your frame to attach the tool wrap. Our suggestion: under the top tube - but depending on the frame size and suspension, you might find a better spot.
- Thoroughly clean the frame at the spot before attaching the strap.
- Place the grippy rubber patch of the strap on the frame and pull the strap through the buckle.
- (Optional) If you want to take a spare tube with you, place the folded tube between the strap and the frame.
- Tighten the strap and secure it with the Velcro. The strap (and possibly the tube) should now be securely attached to the frame.
- Now take the packed Tool Wrap and attach it to the underside of the strap.
- Finally, pull the strap tightly around the Tool Wrap and fix it with the Velcro.
