MX Wheels

The MX setup offers the stability and control of the 29er front wheel, while the 27.5" rear wheel ensures agility and an active riding style. The perfect mix for lots of fun on the terrain.

Glovebox

Pack everything you need under the solid flap in your down tube. The bike comes standard with a "Tool Wallet" and "Tube Purse." This way, everything is securely packed and quickly at hand.

C AND CC CARBON

For our carbon frames, we use the best available materials and production processes. And since larger riders cause greater stresses, we adjust the stiffness for each frame size. This ensures that every rider receives the same, perfect ride quality.

Window to SAG

A small window makes it easier to tune the rear triangle. Other nice details include the mudguard that protects the shock from dirt, the clean cable routing in the frame, and the rubberized down tube protection.

VPP™

The VPP™ system can be optimized for each bike to always achieve the right balance between drive efficiency and rear triangle performance. This means: If it says "VPP™," you can be sure that the rear triangle has been optimized exactly for the intended use for which the bike is built.

130mm VPP™ Travel

For some, it's (too) little travel, for others, it's all they need. With 130mm, you won't blast through the roughest rock garden as quickly as with our V10 downhill beast, but when it comes to surfing from one curve to another and collecting fast air miles, the 5010 shines.

Traction and Suspension Performance

For the 5010, we wanted to find a balanced ratio between support and grip to improve the bike's downhill capabilities. We started with a significantly lower anti-squat value (compared to the previous generation) for a more sensitive response and less pedal kickback.

Playfulness and Support

We gave the 5010's rear triangle a very even but strong progression to provide the rider with a lot of predictable support, bottom-out resistance, and a playful response. This means that the travel is well utilized, but hard hits are not transmitted as directly as you would expect from a bike with short travel.

SRAM Eagle Transmission - robust, smooth, wireless
The next generation of the SRAM Eagle transmission can be found on our new CC models. It is a radically robust, innovatively integrated, and fully standalone wireless shifting system. The full-mount hanger sits directly on the rear axle, creating a much stronger connection with the frame, while the especially robust derailleur offers unprecedented durability. Smooth gear changes are possible even under full load thanks to the combination of X-SYNC technology and cassette mapping. The new AXS Pods shifters are extremely ergonomic and highly customizable, making shifting easy and intuitive. It is simply the most advanced gear system and almost as robust as the mountains themselves.
