The Big Apple is a kind of evergreen in the Schwalbe tire fleet. Over ten years ago, the trend towards balloon bikes began with the Big Apple: comfortable cycling without complex technology! The air cushion of the tires is used as natural suspension. With about 2 bar, a balloon bike rolls wonderfully light and with full suspension effect. A normal tire with a width of 37 mm must be inflated to a rock-hard 4 bar to roll similarly well.

K-Guard is a protective layer reinforced with Kevlar® fibers.
