The Big Apple is a kind of evergreen in the Schwalbe tire fleet. Over ten years ago, the trend towards balloon bikes began with the Big Apple: comfortable cycling without complex technology! The air cushion of the tires is used as natural suspension. With about 2 Bar, a balloon bike rolls wonderfully light and with full suspension effect. A normal tire with a width of 37 mm must be inflated to a rock-hard 4 Bar to roll similarly well.

Schwalbe's RaceGuard consists of double-layered fabric under the tread. Ideal puncture protection when a tire needs to be especially fast and light.
