The Marathon Plus is a Schwalbe classic and one of the most resilient tires on the market. 

The SmartGuard® insert made of highly elastic special rubber is particularly strong. It offers lasting resistance to embedded foreign objects, such as shards and granules. Even a driven-in thumbtack cannot penetrate the protective layer. The SmartGuard® insert is rolling resistance neutral. The Marathon Plus rolls as easily as a tire without a protective belt! Due to its excellent properties, the Marathon Plus is the best choice for e-bikes (E-25). The most important sizes are also tested and approved for fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h (E-50). 

Note: Be sure to use a manometer to set the air pressure on the Marathon Plus. Due to its special construction, a thumb pressure check is not sufficient.
