SQlab 6OX Infinergy® ERGOWAVE® Active 2.1 Saddle

The first "Made in Germany" saddle by SQlab: the 6OX ERGOWAVE® active is the optimal saddle for long and steep climbs on the E-MTB, all-mountain, and enduro bikes. The 6OX ERGOWAVE® saddle has been available for 2 years, but not in this version: Made in Germany. The special feature of the new 6OX ERGOWAVE® "Made in Germany" is the foam of the saddle, which no longer consists of classic PU foam, but of the BASF Infinergy® material known from running shoes. This material is very robust and brings comfort to a completely new level, especially in the terrain, due to the faster rebound. The cover is not pulled over the saddle as a whole like in classic saddles. There are only "tapes" at the important spots. These are connected to the Infinergy® foam automatically and without adhesive.

The ergonomic saddle shape ensures the right relief and comfort: The wave-shaped elevation of the ERGOWAVE® stretching from the rear to the front fits perfectly with the mostly bulbous sit bone branches. This significantly reduces pressure in the perineal area or female pubic arch.

The lower-level, flat, slightly curved saddle nose also ensures less pressure on sensitive areas for both men and women. For even better pressure relief, especially during longer climbs in the terrain, the saddle nose was designed wide, with a flat and as large as possible contact surface.

Thanks to the SQlab active saddle technology, the saddle follows the pedaling motion, increasing comfort, mobilizing the intervertebral discs, and minimizing pressure on the sit bones. The prerequisite for maximum performance is the perfectly tailored fit to the athlete, and thus the saddle is available in four different sizes.

The manufacturing technology was developed a few years ago by the company Oechsler in Ansbach, a large automotive supplier, very successfully for a major sports equipment manufacturer. SQlab and Oechsler then optimized this process together for saddles. The local sourcing of SQlab "Made in Germany" products means not only that the long transport route is eliminated from an ecological perspective, but also that production is extremely efficient and subject to strict German guidelines for pollutants. Local manufacturing, quality assurance, and durability are crucial for the SQlab project.
