TEMPO ARGO R1 is a versatile endurance road saddle with a short-nosed design and generous ischial support that promotes stability.

While a traditional saddle shape encourages the rider to change position frequently for better leverage, Argo puts the rider in a more planted position, providing more stability and better weight distribution.

Argo is our most versatile saddle shape and each version suits different riding styles. Tempo Argo was developed as an option for riding skills to provide a riding feel that matches the balanced geometry of today's all-purpose road machines.

The short length of Tempo Argo allows the rider to sit further forward without putting excessive pressure on sensitive tissues. It also features an ergonomic cutout developed using detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts.

The padding consists of the Type-2 foam formulation developed by Fizik, which is slightly thicker in the area of the ischial sit bones to support a more upright riding posture. The cushioning is slightly softer and more progressive than our racing saddles, providing more comfort over long distances.
