The XX Eagle Transmission derailleur fundamentally changes the relationship between cassette and derailleur. Designed as integrated, interdependent transmission components, the T-Type derailleur is mounted around the wheel axle and directly contacts the cassette with an innovative hangerless interface. The groundbreaking full-mount attachment method creates a much stronger connection and engages on both sides of the frame. The new transmission derailleurs are just as intuitive to pair and set up as our Eagle AXS derailleurs. It features an overload clutch and a streamlined profile that contains only what is necessary for victory. It is easy to maintain and features a lower pulley, the so-called Magic Wheel, which continues to spin when an object gets jammed. Additionally, the XX SL Eagle Transmission derailleur features a carbon cage, a replaceable outer link, and a B-knuckle cover in plain black.
