Danny MacAskill only talks about e-bikes. He just doesn't stop. Only when he gets on his bike, the rapture falls silent. Then he cheers and whoops. And he rides and rides and rides. That's why we built the Heckler the way it is. It goes further, faster and longer, making it even more fun.
The latest generation of the Heckler has a replaceable battery with a higher capacity (720 Wh instead of 504 Wh). This expands the possibilities and more and more remote trails are accessible.
The driving characteristics on the trail distinguish all our bikes. Here we make no compromises even with the e-bikes. We have designed the carbon layup and the frame design particularly robust to absorb the high forces cleanly and guarantee long-lasting driving pleasure. At the same time, the bike is still competitively lightweight. And sensibly and uncompromisingly well equipped. So you should worry more about the falling dark than about possible defects. The geometry has been refined over countless test rides and - uphill and downhill - optimized for riding fun. Our legendary VPP rear triangle is tuned for e-bike use. Smaller anti-squat values than our classic trail bikes provide comfort and traction on technical climbs. 150mm travel at the rear (and 160mm travel at the front) are for us the ideal means for long days on the trails.
The new Heckler is available with MX wheels as well as in the pure 29er setup. The wheel size is not the only choice. The bike is available in both wheel versions in sizes M - XXL. The frame size S comes as a pure 27.5" version. In addition, you now have the choice between our two carbon qualities ("C Carbon" and "CC Carbon") via the equipment options.
The only question we still ask ourselves is: How do we ever get Danny down from his Heckler again?
Full carbon C and CC Carbon
frames.Our CC carbon frames use the best materials and latest manufacturing processes. Our C frames achieve the same stability and stiffness. You just trade in a little more weight for a slightly lower price. Both versions are made in our own factory and come with our lifetime warranty.
Replaceable 720 Wh battery
.The battery is removed and changed in a hexagon socket turn. So it can be conveniently charged without a bike or replaced by a second battery on particularly long tours.
Shimano EP8 motor
.The new Shimano EP8 motor is easily powerful and efficient. It is the right choice even for long and heavy tours.
Steel spring and water
.The frame fits large-volume shocks and always a water bottle.

Geometry
.The latest Heckler has a longer reach and a flatter steering angle than its predecessors. Uphill traction and downhill performance merge on the 445mm short rear end.
The full range from S to XXL
.The 29" and MX versions are available in sizes M - XXL. Frame size S comes with 27.5" wheels front and rear.
