TRP G-Spec HD-E840-2 E-MTB Brake - Rear Wheel - Black
Description
The new G-Spec HD-E840 has been specially designed for use on e-bikes. Through the cooperation of the TRP development team and top riders of the DH World Cup could be developed so a brake system at the highest level, which is more than meets the requirements of E-MTB's. Since E-MTB's by the higher total weight and the usually higher speed brakes develop a lot of heat. The use of 2.3 mm thick disc brakes counteracts this, as these thicker discs reduce the heating of the system by up to 8% and the deformation of the rotor is reduced by 15%. Thus, the problems of overheating, fading and glazed brake pads can be counteracted. The caliper design is open at the top so that the pads can be easily inspected or even replaced without having to lift the e-bike to do so. The brake lever features the Aaron Gwinn specific design and has been enhanced to allow for ideal modulation and optimal weight savings.
Note: The G-Spec HD-E840 brake can only be used with 2.3mm thick brake discs!
