Description
The TR12 is part of TRP's new line-up of rear derailleurs. It is the new, revolutionary 12-speed rear derailleur for trail and enduro bikes. The TR12 is differentiated from other rear derailleurs on the market by the Hall Lock, which gets its name from UCI-DH Champion Aaron Gwinn's mechanic and when closed minimizes movement of the rear derailleur around the mounting bolt, providing added stability and reducing loud noise. Another unique feature is sequential shifting, which allows for high shifting speed and response rates off-road, making this high-performance rear derailleur ideal for shredding your trails.

Hall Lock ™
Aaron Gwin's mechanic John Hall identified the movement of the rear derailleur around the suspension as a significant source of noise. To remedy this, he developed the Hall Lock ™: a friction clutch that stops rotation around the rear derailleur suspension and is adjustable in strength to always ideally match the rear end. A suitable setting prevents noise, but the rear derailleur is still free enough to move so that no damage occurs in the event of an impact. To change the wheel, the Hall Lock ™ can be easily unlocked.
Ratchet Clutch
The Ratchet Clutch offers enough resistance and lowest wear thanks to its large clutch area. Depending on the suspension travel and riding style, it can be individually adjusted in strength and can be unlocked at the push of a button for wheel changes. Depending on the size of the shifting bandwidth, the Ratchet Clutch can be set with stronger or weaker tension, so that the rear derailleur always works optimally with chain, cassette and rear triangle.
