Changing the gradient in real time equates to climbs of up to 20% and descents of -15% at a consistent speed, giving you the feel of a true outdoor workout. The rugged steel and aluminum construction can withstand the toughest rides - but before that, your legs will give out.
The Wahoo Fitness app guides you through the simple setup of the five settings on the KICKR BIKE. Choose between the professional bike fit, take a photo of your bike's dimensions, or enter your height to calculate the exact geometry of your outdoor bike. You can equip the KICKR BIKE with your own handlebars, pedals and saddle.
The KICKR BIKE's virtual shifting technology is programmable to conform to gear ratios, number of gears, number of cassette teeth, and bike components from leading manufacturers such as SRAM, Shimano, and Campagnolo. The digital display shows the gear and the gradient, so you always know which stage you are in.
The KICKR BIKE is seamlessly compatible with all other Wahoo products and pairs with your ELEMNT GPS bike computer, smartphone, tablet or PC. Like all Wahoo smart trainers, the KICKR BIKE is compatible with the most popular training apps like The Sufferfest, Zwift, TrainerRoad, etc.! "Genau wie ein "echtes" Bike!!!"
Der Transport sollte mit einer weiteren Person erfolgen. Ebenso der Aufbau. Alleine geht es auch, ist aber schwierig. Das Kickr Bike wird an Strom angeschlossen und über die Wahho-App eingerichtet - fertig!
Die Einstellungen für Lenker*, Sattel* und Pedale** habe ich von meinem Real-Bike abgemessen und auf das Kickr Bike übertragen - passt perfekt. Die Schaltung kann gemäß der realen Schaltung angepasst werden. Bei mir ist eine Shimano 2x11. (* im Lieferumfang enthalten und okay. ** im Lieferumfang enthalten, aber duch Klickpedale ersetzt)
Mit Zwift und Rouvy gestestet. Bei Rouvy habe ich die virtuelle Realität förmlich gespürt! Nach extrem kurzer Zeit ist man wirklich "drin". Es ruckelt bei Unebenheiten und am Berg geht es richtig bergauf, so mit Neigung und Jemandem, der dein Bike förmlich nach hinten zieht.
Wer also kein Zweitrad hat, mit dem er auf der Rolle oder dem Smart-Trainer fahren kann, der ist mit dem Kickr Bike sehr gut bedient.
